You don’t need to be a member to start an auto loan application. However, you’ll need to qualify to complete the process.
Refinancing your car is an easy way to lower your interest rate and monthly payments. To do this, you’ll need the right information and documents (car mileage, VIN, current car loan numbers, and driver’s license). Appy for your new loan by coming into one of our branches or click here. One of our loan officers will work with you to determine the best rate and terms to meet your situation.
Your credit score is not the only factor we consider in our approval process, but it is important. Generally, you would need a score in the mid-600’s to qualify, but other factors such as job time and existing debt allow for some flexibility in our decision.
A credit score doesn’t just determine car loan approval; it also affects the interest rate. While there are auto loan lenders willing to accept an average (mid-600s) or low (500s to low 600s) credit score, the interest rate would likely be three to five times higher than those with good or excellent credit.

RV loans can be harder to qualify for since they are considered a recreational luxury. They often require a higher credit score and possibly a down payment to get a lower interest rate. Your employment history and income status will also determine if you qualify. At Hercules, we do our best to make getting an RV loan fast and hassle-free.
Depending on the type and age of the RV you are financing, terms generally range between 7 to 15 years. We offer flexible financing terms for new and used RV loans. Options include choosing a shorter financing term with a higher payment, while others may choose a longer term with lower payments. You can also customize the financing terms for your RV by selecting something in between.
One smart financial strategy is to pay a little extra each month toward principal on top of your normal loan payment. This can help you pay off your RV faster and significantly reduce the amount of interest you pay over the life of your loan.
