Payroll Deduction

Over twenty-five employers now offer payroll deduction direct from an employee's payroll into his/her account at Hercules Credit Union. It's fast and automatic and makes it easier to make loan payments and accumulate savings. Check with your employer or the credit union to see if you are eligible.

Direct Deposit

Automatically deposit your paycheck or social security check into your checking account, and save yourself a trip to the credit union. You'll be assured your check is deposited into your account, even it you're out of town.

Safe Deposit Boxes

Located at the credit union office, Safe Deposit Boxes protect your valable papers and possessions. A medium box is just $2.00 per month.

Travelers Cheques

American Express Travelers Cheques are available, and free, if you have a checking account at Hercules Credit Union.

Money Orders

You can purchase money orders to use for payment where a receipt is needed. The maximum purchase per money order is $500.

Notary

Credit Union members have access to free notary service for signature guarantees on important documents.

Wire Transfer

Members can transfer money to other financial institutions throughout the country from their accounts at the credit union.

New Car Pricing

Computerized new car pricing saves you money when negotiating the price of your new car.

Insurance

At Hercules Credit Union you have the opportunity to purchase Credit Life and Disability Insurance when you sign for your loan. Premiums for the coverage you select are reasonable and can simply be included in your loan payment.

ATMs

With a VISA Credit or Debit Card, your funds are within easy access at ATMs in the valley and throughout the world.

Telephone Teller

Telephone Teller allows you to use the buttons on your touch-tone phone to conduct frequent Hercules Credit Union transactions, such as loan payments, transferring funds, or balance inquires 24-hours a day. Please call 801-964-4860.

Browse our website at www.herculescu.com and you will be able to get up-to-date loan and dividend rates, access your account to check balances and receive statement history. You can also make application for membership, loans, checking accounts, direct deposit and get the latest credit union news.

Regular Checking

Interest Bearing Account - The Regular Checking account will earn a competitive interest rate that often exceeds that of other financial institutions. In fact, it's interesting to note that many institutions don't offer the interest on a similar account. The interest on this account is calculated daily and paid monthly.

No Fees Or Monthly Service Charge - We're proud of the fact that we don't bombard our members with complicated fees and service charges.

Unlimited Check Writing - Unlike many other financial institutions, Hercules Credit Union offers unlimited free check writing on all checking accounts.

Convenience - Checking accounts are convenient and hassle free. Unlike making arrangements for money orders, certified checks or keeping cash on hand, distributing your money with a checkbook is easy!

Easy to Balance Statement - Monthly you will receive an easy to read, easy to balance statement. Your checking statement comes complete with a balance form to assist you in monthly balancing.

Premier Checking

Interest Bearing Account - Our Premier Checking account will earn a premium interest rate. Calculating daily gives you the freedom to deposit and withdraw as often as you like without losing any earning power. Because Hercules Credit Union is member owned, and not-for-profit, you earn higher dividends!

Low Minimum Balance - The Premier Checking account has a low minimum balance requirement of $2500. Should your balance drop below $2500, the penalty is minimal - your account simply reverts to the current Regular Checking interest rate.

Consolidated Statement - Most Hercules Credit Union accounts are integrated. Integration allows you to have a consolidated statement that summarizes all the accounts you have at the credit union, and the activity that has taken place in the previous month.

VISA "Check" Card

Looks just like a credit card and is accepted like a credit card, but the money is drawn from your checking account. The amount and merchant are shown on your statement for correct record keeping. Great for traveling or when you're in a hurry. Also should your account exceed the balance deposited, the overdraft protection that comes with your VISA "check" card will create a loan in the amount of the overdraft up to the limit of your line of credit.

Regular Share Account

The Regular Share Account is the foundation of your credit union membership. Upon opening this account with a low $50.00 minimum deposit, you are entitled to all the other services Hercules Credit Union provides.

Your Regular Share Account will earn a competitive interest rate that often exceeds that of other financial institutions. The interest on this account is calculated daily and paid quarterly. Calculating daily gives you the freedom to deposit and withdraw as often as your like without losing any earning power. Because Hercules Credit Union is member owned and not-for-profit, you earn higher dividends! Compare our high rates with those of your bank savings account. IRA's (Individual Retirement Accounts)

Each Hercules Credit Union IRA is insured separately up to $100,000 by the NCUA. In addition, Hercules Credit Union offers other investment options.

CDs (Certificate Of Deposit)

A wide range of options for Certificate Savings offers you almost unlimited possibilities in high return deposits. Hercules' CDs offers a full range of flexible terms - from 3 months to 5 years - all having premium interest rates. Money Fund Savings

Your Money Fund Savings account pays a higher interest rate than Regular Savings. This means a higher return on your investment. Hercules Credit Union savings accounts are calculated daily and compounded quarterly. All accounts earn interest on every dollar - every day.

Small Minimum Balance - The Money Fund Savings account has a low $2,500 minimum balance requirement. Maintaining this balance entitles you to the premium money fund interest rate. Should your balance drop below $2,500, you will still earn the Regular Savings interest rate on the remaining money. The minimum deposit or withdrawal is $100.00.

Daily Liquidity - Your Money Fund Savings may be withdrawn at anytime.

In addition to convenient terms and low rates, 100% financing is available for many auto loans. Most loans can be finalized the same day.

Signature - Quick & Convenient
